A one-piece abaya with an integrated hood — which makes it considerably more practical than it first appears. The hood isn't decorative: worn up it covers the head fully, so the garment works on its own without a separate hijab.

That's the case for this one. Hood down, it's a plain full-length abaya worn with whatever headscarf you like. Hood up, it's a complete covering in one piece, which is genuinely useful for prayer, for travel, or for any moment you want to be ready without arranging anything.

Eight colours, all muted

The palette is deliberately restrained: black, grey, dark green, khaki, dark blue, dark coffee, dark purple and light purple.

Dark coffee and khaki are the standouts — warm, earthy neutrals that are easier to wear in British daylight than black, and less common than the usual navy-and-black options. Light purple is the only soft shade in the range and suits spring and summer.

Non-iron finish

The fabric is polyester with a non-iron finish, which is genuinely useful on a garment this long. Full-length abayas crease across the lap when you sit and at the hem when packed. This one recovers on its own — you can take it out of a suitcase and wear it, which makes it a sensible choice for travel, for Umrah, or anywhere ironing isn't convenient.

It falls loosely from the shoulders with plenty of room through the body and sleeves, so it moves easily and doesn't pull when you bend or reach.

Sizing — one size

This comes in one size, cut generously to suit a range of builds. The loose shape does the work here: with no fitted waist and no fastening to strain, it accommodates far more variation than a shaped abaya would.

What one size can't adjust is length. Worth doing if you're above about 5'7".

Care

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle, inside out. Hang to dry — the non-iron finish works best when the garment dries hanging, which lets the fabric drop back into shape on its own. Avoid tumble drying, which degrades the finish over time. It shouldn't need ironing; if it does, use a cool setting. Don't bleach.
