Wadah Abaya | Two-Piece Brown & Cream | UK

A two-piece set: a deep brown open robe worn over a cream sleeveless inner vest. The contrast is the whole idea — most abayas are tonal, and the two-tone pairing here gives depth that a single colour can't.

Brown over cream is a considered combination rather than an obvious one. Warmer than black-and-white, softer than navy, and it reads as deliberate. If your wardrobe is mostly black abayas, this is the piece that changes the look without asking you to wear a bright colour.

The contrast cuffs

The outer robe's wide sleeves finish in a cream cuff band with a brown stripe running through it. It's a small detail and it does a lot — it ties the two pieces together visually, so the set reads as designed rather than as two garments that happen to be worn at once.

Two pieces, more than two outfits

The cream vest works alone indoors or under a different abaya. The brown robe layers over your own dresses, or over trousers and a top. That's the practical case for a two-piece: you're buying more ways to dress than one abaya gives you.

Sizing — please read, this one is unusual

The brown outer robe is one size. It does not change with your selection. The S to XXL option sizes the cream inner vest only.

So choose your size based on how the inner vest should fit you — the robe will be the same generous cut either way.

Allow 2–3cm variance, as these are measured flat by hand.

Note the length. At 140–145cm from the shoulder, both pieces are long. Shoulder-to-floor on someone around 5'4" is roughly 135cm, so this will sit on or just past the floor for many UK customers. If you're shorter than about 5'6", expect it to pool slightly — which is the intended look for this style, but worth knowing.

The fabric

Polyester chosen for drape. It flows rather than holding a shape, which is what gives the robe its sweep as you move, and it resists creasing well — useful on a garment this long, where sitting is what creases it.

Care

Wash the two pieces together, and separately from anything else for the first few washes — deep brown dye can transfer onto cream, and once it does the contrast is gone. Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle, inside out. Hang to dry rather than tumble drying. Cool iron if needed. Don't bleach.
