The most accessible jacket in our leather range, and the one to buy if you want the look without the outlay. It's made from PU — artificial leather — which we'd rather say plainly than dress up. It isn't animal hide, and it won't age like hide does.

What it does offer: the same silhouette and finish at a fraction of the price, considerably less weight, and no maintenance. PU needs no conditioning, doesn't stiffen in the cold, and wipes clean. For a jacket you want to wear hard without worrying about it, that's a reasonable trade.

Black or dark red

Black is the default and the safe one — it goes with everything and reads as a straightforward leather jacket.

Dark red is the more interesting choice and genuinely uncommon in menswear. It's a deep oxblood rather than a bright red, so it stays wearable, but it will get noticed in a way black never does. Pair it with black or grey and let the jacket do the work.

Light and unlined

This is a spring and early autumn jacket, not a winter coat. It's cut light and there's no heavy lining, so it layers well over a t-shirt or thin knit without adding bulk. PU blocks wind effectively and shrugs off drizzle, but you'll want something substantial underneath once the temperature drops properly.

Available in S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL, in both colours.

The manufacturer hasn't supplied a measurement chart for this jacket, so we can't publish exact garment dimensions — and we won't estimate them. What we can tell you is that these are Asian sizes and run one to two sizes smaller than UK equivalents, so most UK customers should order at least one size up from their usual.

Care

PU is straightforward, but it needs different handling to real leather. Never use leather conditioner, wax or polish — the oils break down the surface coating over time. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry away from direct heat. Don't machine wash, tumble dry or iron it. Hang it rather than folding it, as sharp creases in PU can set permanently.
