A mid-length coat in faux leather with a faux fur lining — warmer than a jacket, and long enough to actually be useful in a British winter. The cut falls to hip or upper thigh depending on your height, which is the length that makes the difference when it's windy: it covers the gap a short jacket leaves.

Both materials are synthetic. The shell is PU faux leather in a matte black finish, and the lining is faux fur. No animal products are used, and we'd rather state that clearly than let the word "fur" do ambiguous work.

How warm is it, really

The faux fur lining traps a genuine layer of air, so this is considerably warmer than an unlined leather jacket — it's a proper winter coat rather than a three-season one. Faux leather also blocks wind well, which matters more than raw insulation on a cold, exposed day.

What it won't do is keep you dry in sustained rain. Treat it as wind-and-cold protection with an umbrella, not as waterproof outerwear.

Measurements are of the garment itself, in centimetres.

Allow 1–3cm variance, as these are measured by hand.

M is also available, but the manufacturer's chart doesn't include measurements for it — email us before ordering that size and we'll confirm the dimensions first.

These are Asian sizes and run one to two sizes smaller than UK equivalents, so most UK customers should order at least one size up from their usual. Bear in mind you'll want room for a jumper underneath in winter, which is another reason to size up rather than down.

Care

Faux leather and faux fur both need gentle handling, and neither should be treated like real leather. Never use leather conditioner, wax or polish on the shell — the oils degrade the PU coating. Wipe the outside clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Brush the fur lining gently with a soft brush to keep it from matting. Air dry only, well away from radiators. Don't machine wash, tumble dry or iron. Hang it rather than folding it, since creases in faux leather can set permanently.
