An oversized jacket only works if it's cut properly oversized — not a regular jacket in a bigger size. This one is built for the silhouette: the shoulder seam sits well down the arm, the body is deliberately roomy, and it's meant to be worn over a hoodie rather than squeezed over a t-shirt.

It's made from PU, a synthetic leather alternative. That's worth saying plainly: this isn't animal hide. PU is lighter than real leather, needs no conditioning, and doesn't stiffen in the cold — which for an everyday city jacket is arguably an advantage. It won't develop the patina that hide does, so it looks much the same in year three as year one.

Wearing it

Black and oversized is a forgiving combination. It sits over a hoodie without bunching, works with straight or wide-leg jeans, and the volume up top balances a slimmer trouser. If you usually find biker jackets too fitted through the shoulders and arms, this is the opposite problem solved.

For British autumn it's a layering piece rather than a coat. PU blocks wind well and shrugs off light rain, but it isn't insulated — put a knit underneath from October onwards.

Size guide

These are generous, oversized measurements — the bust figure in particular is not a body measurement. Lay a jacket you already own flat, measure across it, and compare.

Allow 2–3cm variance, as these are measured by hand.

Because the fit is intentionally oversized, most people should take their normal size rather than sizing up. Only go up if you want it longer in the body or you plan to wear thick knitwear underneath.

Care

PU is low-maintenance and, unlike real leather, should never be treated with leather conditioner — oils and waxes can break down the coating. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry away from direct heat. Don't machine wash, tumble dry, or iron it. Hang it rather than folding it, as sharp creases in PU can become permanent.
